Two-Handed Sword - The Ruins of Antiquity (2024)
Two-Handed Sword's debut EP is a 4-song-display of ancient greek -inspired dungeon synth. The album passes by quickly and each song has a distinctly different feel to it. It does not overstay its welcome, despite falling short on musical level.
Nothing really shines through as being unique or special. The melodies sound rehashed and all too familiar, the sound's are rather uninspired and the mix leaves lots to be desired. While not a complete waste of time, The Ruins of Antiquity can be left gathering dust in an ancient tomb for now.
